While this is not the first new piece of T.I. music that’s hit the web (or iTunes) in the last few months, I can now say that the King is back and actually mean it. Despite a poorly chosen song title, “Pledge Allegiance To The Swag” is near-eights minutes of raw hip hop prowess from both T.I. and the Teflon Don himself, Rick Ross. Production is spot on, courtesy of the constantly delivering JUSTICE. League.
Kanye West with yet another freebie, “Monster” is the much talked about track that features singer/songwriter Bon Iver and on this we also get Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj going in with full force.

So this week marks the first release from Count & Sinden‘s forthcoming album Mega Mega Mega; and they couldn’t have picked a better track to start with. ‘After Dark’ has been all over the radio waves in recent weeks; its not every day that an afro-beat, bongo laden backing track with the irrepressibly catchy vocals of Mystery Jets gets mainstream attention, and the signs are good that we’re going to get plenty more crossover hits from the album we’ve been waiting on forever! With people like Katy B, Magnetic Man and Riva Starr pushing into the top 40, this is a really exciting time for electronic music in the UK, and long may it continue.
